Since 2003, Shepherd’s Grain has supplied bakeries and food manufacturers with high performing, identity preserved flour sourced directly from regenerative wheat farmers. We work exclusively with third party certified regenerative growers and maintain full traceability from farm through milling.

As a farmer owned company, Shepherd’s Grain offers customers a supply chain built for accountability, consistency, and long term reliability. Our model aligns grower stewardship with customer performance needs delivering transparency without sacrificing quality.

Founded by Washington State wheat farmers Fred and Vicki Fleming and Karl and Lexie Kupers, Shepherd’s Grain was built on the belief that ingredient sourcing should be both verifiable and practical. From the beginning, our growers adopted regenerative practices including no till farming, diversified crop rotations, and soil health management that continue to strengthen our supply today.
We now source wheat from regenerative farmers across the United States and Canada. These wheat growers are focused on agronomic practices that support consistent wheat quality and dependable supply for commercial applications.

All Shepherd’s Grain flours are milled exclusively by Grain Craft, the largest independent milling company in the United States. With 12 mills nationwide, Grain Craft provides the scale, technical expertise, and service required to meet demanding customer specifications.
